It is with great sadness that we hear the announcement from Buckingham Palace of the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, on the 8th September, our thoughts are with the Royal Family.

The Churches Ss Simon & Jude, Cockshutt and Ss Raphael & Isidore, Petton are open for for lighting of candles and quiet reflection; also messages of condolence.
Floral tributes may be laid in the Churchyard in Cockshutt near the gate  
Special prayers will be said on Sunday

Join the Nation in a minute’s silence at 8:00 pm.
If you wish to join us gather outside Ss Simon & Jude, Cockshutt at 19:55 hrs.
This short ceremony will be led by Rev. Maureen Read

Those who do not have access to the internet or are not able to go to a location to sign a book of condolence, can send handwritten messages or cards to be addressed to Chair of Shropshire Council, Democratic Services, Shirehall, Shrewsbury SY2 6ND. These will be placed in the books of condolence.
