NOTICE UNDER LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT, 1972 (Section 87(2))
Public notice is hereby given that a casual vacancy has occurred in the office of Councillor for the COCKSHUTT WARD of COCKSHUTT CUM PETTON PARISH COUNCIL
Rule 5(5) of The Local Elections (Parishes and Communities) (England and Wales) Rules, 2006 now applies.
This vacancy was advertised under Rule 5(2) on 15th October 2021. No request to hold an election was submitted to the Returning Officer during the relevant period. The vacancy now falls to the Parish Council to co-opt a person to fill the vacancy.
