Coronavirus Rapid Testing

From Shropshire Council – Stay covid-safe in the workplace

Overall our infection rate in the county has been coming down, but not as fast as we would like. We know that businesses and organisations are working hard to keep their sites COVID-19-safe, but we have seen a recent spike in cases linked to workplaces.

Whether you’re a staff member or business owner, please continue to do all you can to help stop the spread of coronavirus.”

Government Advice:

Around 1 in 3 people have coronavirus without displaying any symptoms, therefore regular testing for people with no symptoms will help to find positive cases earlier and break chains of transmission.”

Frontline and key workers are advised to take a lateral flow test to identify more positive cases, reduce the spread of infection and protect lives and livelihoods.

A new rapid test centre will open in Wem on 22nd February.
