Vacancies
Following the 1st May elections, in the event that insufficient candidates are validly nominated and duly elected to fill all vacancies, Cockshutt cum Petton Parish Council will exercise its powers of co-option under s21 Representation of the People Act 1985.
Cockshutt cum Petton Parish Council currently has three vacancies in the Cockshutt ward and one in Petton ward. Applications for co-option should be received by the Clerk not later than 10 days prior to the Parish Council meeting. The next meeting of the Parish Council is 12th June 2025.
